What are the Benefits of Indoor Cycling?

According to the U.S. Department of Health ".....regular physical activity substantially reduces the risk of coronary disease, stroke, colon cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure.....and helps to control weight, contributes to healthy bones, muscles and joints... reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression..." Need we go on? Cycling is also "low-impact" without the joint stress that you get from "ground-pounding" sports and activities. All good reasons to strap-in/clip-on and RYDE!

If you'd like to take a day to enjoy a solid fitness achievement, make a big difference for a wonderful cause and enjoy some time with your RydeOn! family, I've got the answer for you – join our RydeOn! 50 Wish-A-Mile team to benefit Make-A-Wish Michigan.

Since we started talking about our Wish-A-Mile plans a few months ago our team, led by the intrepid Tina Ferraro, has recruited eight Ryders and raised $1,495. We'd like to recruit (at least) two more Ryders, and our overall fundraising goal is (at least) $5,000.

So what do you say? I'll be there, and I'd love to see you there as well as we take our Training For Life into the community.
