What are the Benefits of Indoor Cycling?

According to the U.S. Department of Health ".....regular physical activity substantially reduces the risk of coronary disease, stroke, colon cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure.....and helps to control weight, contributes to healthy bones, muscles and joints... reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression..." Need we go on? Cycling is also "low-impact" without the joint stress that you get from "ground-pounding" sports and activities. All good reasons to strap-in/clip-on and RYDE!

 

 

PEAC Saline Summer Program

PEAC 2014

This summer, PEAC Saline Summer Program worked with nearly 40 students from the local Saline area. These students face the challenge of a disability, ranging from physical disabilities like Cerebral Palsy to more emotional disabilities like Autism. PEAC believes that Everyone Can Ride, and works with students to accomplish their own individual goals.

Do you remember your first time on a bike? You felt the wind against your face, and you felt like you were truly free. You can do something today to give that incredible feeling to our local students. And you can have a great time doing it, too!

Register for Keep Calm & RydeOn, the 3rd Annual PEAC Ryde-a-Thon! Here are the details:

Saturday, February 8th
RydeOn Cycling Studio (450 E. Michigan Ave., Saline, MI)
Four Classes: 8:00am, 9:30am, 11:00am, 12:30pm
Registration: $25/person, $100/team of four
